Plainfield Community Schools has just named Scott Olinger as the new Superintendent of Schools as of July 1st.

Scott has his Ed.S. degree in educational administration from Indiana State University and his undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Butler University, with a business education and physical education major.

He was the former principal of Plainfield High School and has experience as a teacher, coach, and administrator at Batesville High School, Shelbyville High School, and Perry Meridian High School. He also, for a time, was a former assistant football coach at Franklin College and was captain of his Butler University football team in his college years.
